The Trust is a membership organization and depends on the support of many to succeed as a regional leader. We need your participation to make it work. New! Make a donation or pay your membership dues online with the security of Paypal.
- Membership: Individuals may join the Trust by filling out and submitting the Membership Form. The form also provides the information you need to join a North Shore Housing Trust Committee. You can now pay your membership dues online by clicking the donation button above.
- Partners Circle: enlists local businesses, organizations and municipalities to support housing program initiatives by providing sponsorship for the organization. To learn more, download information about the Partners Circle.
You can also give:
- A Major Donation of Cash or Stock: Foundations and individuals are encouraged to contribute generously to support the Trust's affordable housing goals. A gift of stock can be a tax saving for many donors. Check with your financial advisor or accountant.
- Land: Permanent affordability is achieved through placing a deed restriction on the land. But in a pricey market, land is unaffordable. Your donation of land is essential for our long-term success.
- Insurance: Make the Trust a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. This can be a policy you own that no longer serves its original purpose, or a policy naming the Trust a contingent beneficiary, or a policy you buy to specifically benefit the organization.
- Planned Gift: Charitable lead or remainder trusts and other forms of planned giving support the growth of the Trust while providing substantial benefits to the donor. Consult your attorney or accountant.
